The short answer: NH Mensa has no control over logins. Use your member number and password given to you by American Mensa. The long answer: The NH Mensa website is hosted on American Mensa's servers. It uses the same login algorithm that the AML website uses, and which is under AML's exclusive control. Members get their credentials from AML, which are good (in accordance with their AML-assigned permissions) for any login on AML's servers, including for our site. Your credentials for login to NH Mensa's "Members Only" area should consist of your member number (or your email address of record with AML) and the password they gave you (or the one to which you've changed it). Additionally, all American Mensa members are given access permissions to our site by default. If your valid credentials are working for the AML site, but not for NH's site, it's possible (however unlikely) that your permissions have gotten set incorrectly inadvertently. But again, the NH Mensa webmaster has no access to said permissions, nor control over security on AML's servers. So if your credentials aren't working, or you don't know your password, the necessary avenue of inquiry is to contact them (webservices at americanmensa.org) to investigate. But first, the webmaster strongly recommends double-checking your member number, and ensuring the password you're entering is what you think it is (they're case-sensitive) by typing it first into a text editor (like Notepad), then copy&paste it to the login screen. Good luck. |
